After being married now for 30 years and experiencing the ups and downs in marriage teaches you that in marriage we must hold fast to God. He must be that third strand that holds marriage together, that builds and strengthens a binding tie, that keeps marriage on one accord. Marriage has taught us how to grow as individuals and how to grow as a couple. It helps us to increase our prayer life so that God will remain in the center.
