Often when we go through hard times, we can't look at things as “woe is me”. You have to redirect our focus. You have to see what God is doing through you so that you can develop in the area of your life that you are falling short. So instead of looking at “why is this happening to me” look at “what is God trying to show you through your experience”.

 

Budgeting is a key component of creating the framework so that you can achieve your goals for your forward movement.

I am also a cosmetologist by trade and I was used to receiving cash for services rendered. So when I wanted to achieve a certain goal like expanding my business, purchase a car, purchase a new home,or even pay off some debt. I would create an envelope system that would give me a certain timeline of how much to save and how often I needed to save to reach that desired goal of success. It definitely takes patience to budget and save but the outcome is very rewarding.
